Today, we care for a family of 126 individuals while working towards a permanent, self-sustaining ecosystem where generations can live, support, learn, and grow together with dignity and purpose.

Our Story
One intention became a larger purpose of care.
What began with one woman's mission to care for neglected elderly individuals has grown into a larger purpose of supporting vulnerable communities with dignity and compassion.
- Founded by Yojana Gharat with a belief that no person should be left without care, dignity, and support.
- The journey expanded across Maharashtra before continuing its work in Thane.
- SMIT Foundation is a family built on compassion, resilience, and hope.
